Man eats winning scratchcard onboard Ryanair flight

AN INFURIATED airline passenger ate his winning £8,765 scratchcard after he was told he could not collect his winnings straightaway.

The man bought the card while travelling with Ryanair from Poland to East Midlands and was furious when he was told by cabin crew that he could not claim the prize onboard.

It was reported fellow passengers and staff urged the man not to swallow the card, but he went ahead regardless.

Ryanair have stated that the winnings will now be donated to a charity as the sum will now go unclaimed.
