Fair City shopping experience the best

Dear Editor - I am not in the habit of writing to congratulate a company on their service. However, on this occassion, I feel it is neccessary.

On Saturday my partner and I were walking along St John Street and happened upon a store we had not noticed before.

To say we were given a warm welcome is an understatement. We were greeted by two members of staff who were singing along to a rather jolly song. We asked one of the girls the name of the store and were informed it was White Stuff.

My partner and I had never heard of it before and the young girl took great delight in telling us all about the company and how it got started. It is very refreshing to come across staff who take an interest in their company background and are excited to share it.

The store itself has a unique look and is not like anything I have experienced before. After taking time to browse around the store, accompanied by the young girl, I decided to try on a number of items.

I was escorted to the fitting rooms and left in the hands of yet another fantastic young girl. I was led to the till after deciding on my purchase and was served by the manager who was as friendly and excited as every member of staff.

I can honestly say in all my years as a shoppaholic, I have NEVER come across such happy, knowledgeable staff who are more than willing to go out of their way to give fantastic service and ensure the customer has a great shopping experience.

These days it is very rare to come across a whole team of great people in one store.

I would highly recommend this new store to anyone – and my partner and I will most certainly be returning.
