Nothing but praise for Cllr Simpson

Dear Editor, – Burrelton and District Community Council are aware of recent items in your newspapers concerning the resignation of members of Scone Community Council and comments made concerning Councillor Lewis Simpson.

Our community council area adjoins that of Scone Community Council and we, like them, have Councillor Simpson, of Perth and Kinross Council, as the local elected member. He attends virtually all our community council meetings.

On behalf of Burrelton and District Community Council, I would like to make it clear that Councillor Simpson has our full and enthusiastic support.

We greatly appreciate all the excellent work he has done on our behalf since he became involved with us almost two years ago.

He has proved to be a very good elected member, hard working, positive, helpful and a pleasure to work with and we hope to enjoy his continued involvement with us in the years ahead.
