Parking charges set to rise

Dear Editor, – I have recently had numerous customers remarking how quiet the centre of Perth is and shop turnover verifies this. At the same time I read that all the council can think of is raising car park charges. This is an interesting business attitude to take by the council as my business sense tells me that a reduction, rather than a rise, would benefit the long time prosperity of the city and consequently the council.
