Cottage hospital thanks

Dear Editor, – On behalf of all the patients and staff at Blairgowrie Community Hospital, we would like to thank all who contributed to making our Christmas such an enjoyable occasion. We are very grateful for all the good wishes, gifts and donations so generously handed in by relatives and friends.

Special thanks go to Mr Dougals Kidd, Mr Bill Christie, Mr Gordon McGregor, Mrs Connie Irvine, Mr Bill Burnett, Callum McManus and Rev Ian Knox for providing the entertainment at the patient’s party.

Thank you also to Jade, Gillian and Jack for helping Santa. The patients, relatives and staff thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon.

Thank you also to the Cornerstone Nursery for visiting the hospital and singing so beautifully to the patients.

We are also grateful to Mr Brian Campbell for ensuring Santa visited the hospital on Christmas Day and also visited the Day Hospital parties.

The Day Hospital would particularly like to thank Rev Alan Gibbon and Music in Hospitals for entertaining at their parties.

We are very grateful for the huge support we receive throughout the year from the Friends of Blairgowrie Community Hospital, the Quality of Life Group and the Flower Ladie. We greatly appreciate all the hard work they do for the hospital.

Sheena O’Brien and Kate Wright,

Senior Charge Nurses,

Blairgowrie Community Hospital.
