Callarfountain should be upgraded

Dear Editor, – I read the article “Digital TV switchover is a success” (PA, July 12) and wish the content applied to the area of Perth in which I reside.

The additional channels available with Freeview are excellent, but my residential area is not receiving all the channels as the mast at Callarfountain has not been upgraded.

Reference was made about this by a local councillor when the switchover took place in the Perth area that not all channels were being received and he stated that he would ensure that this would be dealt with. To date, it is obvious that he has done nothing, as the situation remains the same.

In the light of this information, I would ask Paul Hughes if he can, through your paper, throw some light as to when the upgrade will take place to ensure that all customers receive all entitled programme.
