Feus Road flooding a disgrace

Dear Editor, – As one of the residents on the Crieff Road who was flooded last Wednesday with raw sewage, I 100% agree with Mr Rogalski on the drainage issue.

Having lived on Crieff Road for over 10 years it has only been the last three years that this problem has arose.

After reading the article in the PA I have to say the council’s response infuriated me. I would have no problem whatsoever flood preventing my home if I happened to live on a riverbank but as the nearest river is two miles away I never thought for a minute that flooding would be an issue.

As a parent of young children I think it is extremely unhygienic to have raw sewage and sanitary products floating about my home and gardens.

I would have liked to have read the response from Scottish Water on this issue, oh but wait ... there wasn’t one.

What a surprise. In fact I still await a response from Scottish Water on the two previous occasions that this has happened.
