Yobs target beautiful Kinnoull

Dear Editor, – Wanted! Volunteers for Neighbourhood Watch in Kinnoull.

People living in the beautiful Kinnoull area of Perth are being constantly frustrated with mindless yobs coming home late after an evening “in town”.

For several months now a “hobby” has developed for smashing pot plants, tipping over sand bins, kicking and spraying paint on road signs and walls in Manse Road, Bowerswell Road and Hatton Road.

Last week was different.

Several homes in these areas were target with fire.

Bins were set alight causing thousands of pounds of considerable damage which could have been lives in one situation.

Neighbours are now installing cameras on their property to catch those responsible but if the police are to be successful in catching these yobs they need help from the public.
