Fair City is safe port in a snow storm

Dear Editor, – A car-load of us, in common with hundreds of others, were stuck in Perth on November 28, when both the A9 and M90 were closed. We set off from Inverurie, bound for Ayr, at 10am on Sunday morning and made it to Dundee by noon through snow and thunder and lightning.Read

Dear Editor, – With reference to your article of November 19. In my opinion it is deplorable in this day and age that ex-servicemen would vote against women members joining their club.Read

Dispose of dog poo properly

Dear Editor, – I would like to comment on the so called “responsible” dog owners who walk their dogs in Kinnoull Hill Woodland Park. While many I’m sure pick up their hounds’ droppings and dispose of them correctly in the bins or take it home, there are many that feel it is fine to bag it and throw it into the bushes or even hang it on a tree. It is a disgusting sight and they should be ashamed of themselves.Read

The van driver did not bother to stop and the cat was hit by another vehicle coming very close behind and left still alive lying in the middle of the road with traffic continuing to drive around it.Read
