DELIGHTED to hear that PKC has allocated £105,000 in its 2009/10 budget to bankroll Perth’s Citizens’ Advice Bureau’s (CAB) move to a more central location.
With the much-predicted economic downturn now a terrifying reality, this invaluable service will be needed more than ever.
News that a credit union is also being established in Perth and Kinross is another string to this budget’s economic bow.
In the current climate, the safe and low cost loans that can be provided by credit unions will act as a safety net for many Big County folk and provide firm financial foundations for communities in years to come.
