I GOT a call from the producer of Brian Taylor’s Radio Scotland show yesterday inviting me along to Perth Concert Hall next Friday (October 2) to take part in his hugely popular ‘Big Debate’ Show.
It’s the first time the BBC Scotland Political Editor has taken his show ‘on the road’ and he wants to hear from PA readers.
Brian told me: “Perth has long played a central role in Scottish politics – from Edward Heath’s Declaration of Perth through umpteen influential party conferences to contentious by-elections.
“So it is entirely fitting that the first venture on the road for our debate should be to the Fair City.
“I’m greatly looking forward to lively debate, sparky questions – and a bowl of soup in my favourite Perth cafe.”
Come and join us as we broadcast live on Friday, October 2, on BBC Radio Scotland from 1.15pm in Perth Concert Hall in front of an audience for news, views and discussion on the week’s big stories.
Please email kate.hooper@bbc.co.uk to book a place in the audience.
On air 1.15pm – 2.00pm (arrive from 12.30pm – doors close at 1pm).
