Robbie is laid to rest

TRAGIC Coupar Angus teenager Robbie Thomson was laid to rest yesterday.

His body was found in a burn in Coupar Angus on March 26, and yesterday afternoon friends and family gathered to pay their final respects to the popular 17-year-old.

Robbie has been described as a dear son, much loved brother and dearest grandson and nephew.

And on the request of his family all those attending yesterday’s service at Perth Crematorium were asked to pay their respects by bringing something green, as it was Robbie’s favourite colour.

Friends have been leaving tributes to Robbie on his social networking webpage and have described him as “an amazing guy” and “one in a million”.

A 23-year-old man has since been arrested and charged in connection with Robbie’s death.
