A LOCAL man of words will be appearing at Perth’s main library next week for an evening of poetry.
Next Thursday, acclaimed local poet Kenneth Steven will be at the AK Bell Library in Perth as part of the First Thursday series of events.
He will be reading from Wildscape, his recently published volume of selected poems, as well as from some of his other writing.
The Highland landscape and its people are the inspiration for Ken’s poetry which has won numerous awards and has been translated into many languages.
He is also the writer of adult novels and children’s books and has appeared at literary festivals and similar events both here and abroad.
The evening starts 7pm with refreshments from 6.30pm.
