LAST year’s Silent Auction raised a whopping £16,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support’s Appeal to build a palliative care centre at PRI.

And this year we are pulling out all the stops to smash this total.

Explained PA Editor, Alison Lowson: “In a nutshell, we are looking for Big County businesses and PA readers to donate quality items which we can auction off in aid of this important local appeal.

“Last year we received tremendous support from the local business community and everything from a year’s worth of haircuts to a trailer-load of dung were donated!”

Throughout October, the Perthshire Advertiser will feature details of all items donated in a number of special supplements and invite readers to bid on-line or via a special phone line.
