Simone’s design for life

PERTHSHIRE student Simone Farrer has won first prize in a bedroom designing competition run by a national property firm.

To mark her success, the Kilgraston pupil saw elements of her colourful design come to life in Sovereign House Developments’ Strathearn View show home in Bridge of Earn.

Simone also received a £50 book voucher.

Kilgraston head teacher Audrey Kellaway added: “It’s fantastic that Simone has won this prize and I’m thrilled that her artistic flair has been recognised.

“A project such as this enables the children to appreciate what’s involved in the creative process of interior design.”
