Mic night off at Greyfriars

TOMORROW’S scheduled open mic night at Perth’s Greyfriars Bar has been cancelled.

The reason is because its regular host, Ewan MacFarlane, has gone on tour in Europe with ambient / electronica pioneers Apollo 440.

Greyfriars proprietor Pauline Marshall said: “We are really sorry to disappoint everybody, but I’m sure they’ll understand how important Ewan’s work with Apollo 440 is,” she told Music Scene.

“Ewan and I want to thank all artists who have performed over the last few weeks and, of course, the people who came along to see them and help make the event a success.”

Ewan MacFarlane will return to Greyfriars for a live session on Wednesday week.
