CHART-TOPPING band Journey South are inviting young fans to join them on stage in Perth.
The duo, who shot to fame as runners-up on ITV’s X Factor talent show, are inviting Big County schools and choirs to apply for a chance to sing with them at Perth Concert Hall on June 27.
Middlesbrough brothers Carl and Andy Pemberton’s current UK-wide Home tour is generating funds for children’s adoption charity Barnardo’s.
Each show includes a version of the Take That classic Never Forget, with 20 children rehearsing the track and then joining the band onstage each night.
Barnardo’s has adopted the Journey South song What I Love About Home as the theme for its latest promotional campaign.
And it’s a cause that is understandably close to the Pembertons’ hearts.
After coming off X Factor in 2005, the brothers discovered they had an adopted sister who is now a part of their lives.
Now they have pledged to give all profits from the sales of What I Love. . . during April, May and June to Barnardo’s.
