Battlefield Band CDs to be won

ROUSING Scottish outfit The Battlefield Band celebrated 30 years together with a rousing show in Perth last week.

The Highland jam exponents took Perth Theatre by storm as part of the Fair City’s Festival of the Arts jamboree, and to commemorate the performance, we’re giving away copies of their latest CD and brand new DVD to two lucky winners.

Released last year, the album Dookin’ saw Battlefield members Alan Reid, Mike Katz, Alasdair White and Sean O’Donnell at their versatile best, delivering covers of classic oldies beside their own self-penned songs and tunes.

Building on the success, their soon-to-be-released DVD is a recording of the band in concert at the Brunton Theatre in Musselburgh.

It powerfully captures all the excitement and energy of a live Battlefield performance.
