Sean and his band The Modems, which he and his sister Laura May Gibson formed three months ago, have appeared all last week on the channel with their single 'Kiss of Death'. Sean's solo songs 'Braw' (which features his sister) and 'Transformer' also are played back to back on the show.
"I'm dead chuffed!" says Sean. "I only expected them to play the one song, but to have three up there is a fantastic buzz. I just hope it gets someones attention. The channel's number is 196, so I keep repeating to people '196'! They're probably sick of it !" he laughs.
The music itself is quite interesting as it has a very Scottish identity stamped all over it. His song Braw uses little phrases only heard this side of the border, but he likes it that way. "I love writing with
You never know, maybe one day it will be just like that.
"I hope so.." he grins, "Even if I have to write them all myself!"
