Comrie gig for Mr Spider

BLUESMEISTERS Mr Spider are set to rock West Perthshire on Friday.

The three-piece play Comrie’s Ancaster Arms, hard on the heels of appearances at the Dundee Blues Bonanza and Aberdeen’s Cellar 35.

Paul Reoch, the band’s drummer and former Music Scene scribe, said the busy outfit are looking forward to performing in the Shaky Toon for the first time.

“This gig is in the middle of the Comrie fortnight so we’re hoping for a decent crowd,” he said.

“We feel we are a much stronger unit as a three-piece, and are constantly adding to our setlist.”

Mr Spider will perform tracks from their Web Of Lies album, recorded recently in Carnoustie, along with a variety of classic blues at Comrie. The gig starts at 9pm.
