HARD rocking bands are set to join forces to help a Perth-based water safety charity.
The all-day Book Yer Ane Fest event will take place in the Fair City’s Mucky Mulligans next month to provide valuable funds for Safe-Tay, which raises awareness about the dangers of the River Tay and helps buy life-saving equipment.
Tragical History Tour frontman Derrick Johnston, who has organised the gig, said he has put together “a celebration of all things DIY punk rock”.
Acts who’ll be involved include Kaddish, Sunset Squad, Joey Terrifying, Fragile, Mafafi, State Of Affairs, Mesa Verde, Swordmaster, The Hijacks, The Living Daylights, 15 Minutes, Torturo Nervosa and Black Channels.
Besides the bands, other attractions will include stalls for good causes, a vegan cake sale and a mixtape / CD swap box.
Entry to the November 15 show, which is expected to start at around 2pm and run until midnight, will cost £5.
All profits will go to Safe-Tay, with further details available at www.safe-tay.co.uk
