Texan announces Perthshire dates

TEXAN songstress Tracy Conover (above) yesterday sprung a surprise by confirming two Perthshire dates.

The country rocker will be appearing at Christies Bar in Perth’s Kinnoull Street on Friday from 9.30-11.30pm, then at the Taybank Hotel in Dunkeld on Sunday from 9-11pm.

In between the two Big County shows, she’ll be playing at Deacon Brodies in Dundee on Saturday night.

Joining Ms Conover on stage will be Perth-based musicians Stu Methven on guitar, Dave Shaw (bass) and Blues On Tap drummer Joe Irvine.

The Tayside hat-trick represents the singer-songwriter’s only Scottish dates in a short UK jaunt, and she promises to perform new, never-played-before material.
