ONE of Scotland’s hottest acts is ready to banish the winter blues.
A spectacular black and red themed musical evening is planned for the Gleneagles Hotel on March 14.
The Red Hot Chilli Pipers will perform alongside acclaimed opera star Tony Henry offering a unique fusion of traditional bagpipes and popular opera.
The lavish event will begin with a champagne and canapé reception followed by an exquisite gala dinner in the hotel’s opulent ballroom.
Once described as Britain’s own Pavarotti, Tony Henry is a classically trained singer who has the presence and showmanship that captivates audiences. He has performed at Buckingham Palace, the Royal Albert Hall and Wembley Stadium.
“I was thrilled to perform at Gleneagles for the first time at New Year as the hotel is truly a world-class destination, so the opportunity to return is one I’m really looking forward to,” said Tony.
The Red Hot Chilli Pipers have fast become a global phenomenon, delighting audiences as far afield as Bangkok and New York with their signature ‘bag rock’.
As well as achieving platinum sales in Scotland with their debut album, the Chillis have cemented their reputation as one of the most exciting live acts around.
