Catwalk rock stars

MUSICIANS, models and dancers will again take to the stage for Rock The Catwalk at Perth Concert Hall in May – following up on hugely-successful shows over the last two years.

Last year’s event was a near sell-out, with almost 1000 packing the hall to watch the two-hour show, which raised cash for the CLIC Sargent cancer charity.

That added to the funds collected at the 2007 show, held under a different name, means a total of £17,000 has been donated over the last two years.

Rehearsals are well underway for this year’s show – and its organisers hope to again raise thousands for CLIC Sargent, which helps children and young people.

This year’s performance will feature amateur models from around Perthshire strutting their stuff to the sounds of a house band.

Perth stores such as Phase Eight, Austin Reed, Debenhams, Romera and Boutique are supplying outfits for the models.

Tickets for the show, which takes place on Friday, May 2, at Perth Concert Hall, with tickets priced at £14 and £9 available from the venue or www.horsecross.co.uk
