Unsigned bands take to stage to showcase talents

UNSIGNED hopefuls are lining up to prove their mettle in a string of gigs being held at a Perth venue this weekend.

The Twa Tams kicks off its live activities on Thursday with a showcase evening featuring The Viragoes with True Gents stalwart Toby Jeffrey.

Taking centre stage at the Scott Street venue the following night are Fair City country rock favourites The Humble Hobos, with support from The Balladeers.

Events conclude on Saturday with a set from the bizarrely-named Kings Of Cheeze, a band that have evaded Music Scene’s radar until now.

All the freebie shows start at 9pm.
