Bar date for Ewan

SCOTTISH songsmith Ewan MacFarlane returns to Perth on Sunday.

The former Grim Northern Social frontman will be appearing at Greyfriars Bar as a precursor to the launch of a weekly open mic night he’ll be hosting at the South Street venue every Wednesday at 7.30pm from April 29.

With more than 20 years on the live music circuit and having recently secured a publishing deal for his own songs, Ewan is now keen to offer help and encouragement to other singer / songwriters looking to broaden their experience and has joined forces with Greyfriars supremo Pauline Marshall.

From college students performing live for the first time to established artists trying out new material, all can be sure of an enthusiastic and appreciative audience at the popular live music venue, which enjoys a solid reputation for supporting new acts.

Tickets priced £6 for MacFarlane’s Sunday gig are available from Greyfriars.
