PROG legends Jethro Tull are set to return to Perth Concert Hall.
Ian Anderson and his acclaimed band will hit the road in the spring for a 23-date UK tour, including a PCH appearance on March 29.
Jethro Tull, who have sold over 60 million albums worldwide, previously appeared at the Fair City venue in 2006 and again on their 40th anniversary tour last year.
The upcoming shows promise to feature a ‘best of’ repertoire with some rare gems thrown in for good measure.
Rejoining the flute-playing frontman in the line-up will be experienced cohorts Martin Barre, Doane Perry, David Goodier and John O’Hara.
“Of all the music we’ve recorded over the years, there are several songs which have rarely, if ever, been performed in public,” Anderson said yesterday.
“We look forward to introducing some of this material to the setlist along with some of the tried and trusty favourites.”
Tickets for the Perth show, which starts at 7.30pm on March 29, are available by calling 0845 612 6328, online from Horsecross and via www.jethrotull.com
