NEW roots outfit Old Blind Dogs take a trip to West Perthshire this weekend.
Regarded as one of the most original, cutting edge outfits in Scotland’s continuing folk rock revival, the Dogs will play Comrie’s White Church on Friday. This will be the north-east band’s third Shaky Town appearance.
Since forming in 1990, Old Blind Dogs have won international claim and devoted fans, as well as folk band of the year gongs at the Scots Trad Music Awards in 2004 and 2007.
The Dogs’ energetic live show features fiddle, pipes, djembe and conga.
Tickets for the gig are available from Comrie Development Trust, the village post office and online at www.thebooth.co.uk.
