CLUBBERS in Perth will be treated to a performance from a top-rated Abba tribute band on Saturday.
The Loft has secured Scots outfit Abbamania who have played the songs of Swedish pop legends Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson at gigs all over Europe.
Abbamania are fronted by singers Ewa Scott, Nyree Burt, Steven Galert and Ross Taberner, who are joined by two guitarists, plus drums, bass and three backing singers.
Ewa Scott is a classically trained vocalist who graduated from the Polish Academy of Music after studying piano and violin for six years and a further five years of classical vocal training.
Nyree Burt has performed at functions and festivals across the UK and Europe, and has had principal roles in stage productions of West Side Story, Calamity Jane and Mary Poppins.
Musical virtuoso and multi-instrumentalist Steven Galert has worked for top recording artists like Don Williams, PJ Proby, Tony Christie, The Drifters and The Christians.
Meanwhile, Ross Taberner has performed in numerous groups and teaches guitar and drums to budding musicians in Scotland.
Abbamania formed in 1998 and are now recognised as one of the world’s most authentic Abba tribute bands.
Their near two-hour live shows take in all the classic hits associated with the Eurovision Song Contest winning four-piece.
Favourites tracks such as Waterloo, Dancing Queen, Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! and Take A Chance On Me all feature prominently in the Abbamania experience.
Tickets for Saturday’s show at the South Street venue are available from Perth pubs That Bar, Tavern and Rocablu.
Abbamania are expected to be on stage at 8pm.
