The Grip set to play Perth's Malt House

YOUNG Perth indie-popsters The Grip play the Fair City’s Malt House on Saturday.

The promising four-piece have played at numerous venues and festivals throughout Perthshire and recently started recording work at the Redbarn studios in Longforgan.

Comprising family members and friends, The Grip is fronted by Nichola Hill on guitar and vocals.

Support comes from Nichola’s cousin Aly Buick on bass, her brother Malky Hill (guitar / vocals) and James Ogilvy on drums.

Meanwhile, Perth folk/rock band Earthwood will be playing at the Princes Street venue on Friday from 8.30pm.
