The Windows to open at Perth pubs

A CHARITY single by Perth rockers The Windows will be on sale to fans this weekend.

The versatile four-piece will be playing Mucky Mulligans from 9pm on Friday, then they’ll make their debut appearance at the Foundry Bar on Saturday at 9.30pm.

To boost their Rockin’ For Kids project, the band will be selling a four-track benefit EP at the second show.

“We are really looking forward to playing in the Foundry,” Windows leader Athole Fleming (above) explained.

“We will have our EP on sale at the bar to raise a little money to help begin the journey towards next year’s big Rockin’ For Kids / Perth 800 fund-raising weekend in August.”

Anyonewanting to win a private gig by The Windows should log on to www.perthrotary.net and make a bid before Saturday.

The prize is available as part of the Perth Silent Auction, with all proceeds going to local good causes.
