Late additions to T in the Park line-up

A CLUTCH of late additions to this month’s T in the Park bill have been named by event organisers.

On top of an already impressive line-up, the July 11-13 Balado festival’s Radio 1/NME Stage will now feature an appearance from piano-playing popster Bruce Avary, and his band The Rocket Summer on the Saturday.

Meanwhile, the event’s King Tut’s Tent attractions continue to swell, with The Music, currently enjoying chart success with new single Strength In Numbers, Texan experimental alt-rock outfit Jaguar Love and the anthemic Royworld all set to join the stage on Friday, Saturday and Sunday respectively.

Elsewhere, neo-psychedelic rockers the Brian Jonestown Massacre return to T for a sure-to-be eventful performance in the Pet Sound Arena.

The Futures Stage is further bolstered by a raft of stunning new talent, headed up by The Rascals, fresh from supporting The Arctic Monkeys.

Also joining Saturday’s line-up will be punk pop outfit The Metros, with Sunday seeing We Are The Physics bringing their ‘science-punk’ to T.

One-to-watch Beth Rowley and Gary Go complete Sunday’s Futures Stage bill.

For dance fans, the Slam Tent’s eclectic line-up is completed with the addition of techno legends Model 500, who will join the likes of Aphex Twin, Jeff Mills and Ritchie Hawtin.

T organisers have also confirmed the return of the Bacardi B-Live Arena, which will host a spectacular array of DJs, while a host of unsigned talent has been added to the festival’s already strong T Break Stage roster, including The Twilight Sad, The Hazey Janes, Haight Ashbury and Parka.
