FESTIVAL-GOERS are being given the chance to claim a spot in an exclusive luxury area at T in the Park, complete with their own pre-pitched tent and a chilled crate of Tennent’s Lager.
The Balado extravaganza’s mini-village, The Collective, returns for a second year at T from July 11-13, and one fan will get their hands on a pair of ultra-scarce tickets courtesy of Music Scene and the event sponsors.
As every diehard T regular knows, it’s not just about seeing the best in international and homegrown talent perform across 12 stages, including The Verve, Rage Against The Machine, REM, Kings Of Leon, Chemical Brothers, Prodigy, Ian Brown, Primal Scream, Interpol, KT Tunstall and Black Kids.
Neither is it just about the taste of Scotland’s renowned fresh pint Tennent’s Lager, which has travelled just 44 miles from brewery to Balado and into your hands at T.
It’s about swapping your top ten bands of the weekend with your campsite buddies, helping next door put their tent up, singing your festival anthem of the weekend in the car all the way home – and most of all it’s about coming home with friends that you never had before.
And The Collective is the ideal place to meet new friends in the heart of the legendary Balado campsite.
Lucky music fans will win the chance to take part in this rock and roll hot spot, where they will win weekend and camping tickets, a tent already pitched in The Collective which can be taken home after the festival, fresh chilled Tennent’s Lager and the opportunity to spend time with your new pals discussing the music events of the day with travel courtesy of Citylink, the event’s official transport partner.
To check yourself into The Collective simply write a song or rhyme that you and your mates will be singing at the Main Stage at T this year!
You can enter simply by sending your effort to Music Scene, The Perthshire Advertiser, 58 Watergate, Perth PH1 5TF, by noon on Monday, July 7. Entrants must be 18 or over.
