2009 tickets go on sale

TICKETS for next year’s T in the Park went on sale to eager festival-goers yesterday. Following yesterday’s departure of the last of Balado’s long weekend campers, organisers Big Day Out are expected to be swamped with enquiries when they start taking orders for 2009.
Early bird passes to the next staging of the music extravaganza will go on sale at noon. Ticket prices are £68.50 (day), £137 (Saturday and Sunday combined), £160 (weekend camping, including Friday).
Car park and Thursday camping upgraded tickets will also be available today. Bookings can be made at www.ticketmaster.co.uk, or by calling 08444 999 990.
