Festival award for T in the Park

FANS have helped T in the Park land the best line-up award at the UK Festival Awards in London.

Festival director Geoff Ellis yesterday praised the Balado attendees who took part in an online vote to help clinch success for the 80,000-capacity event.

“A million thanks go to every one who voted for us in this highly competitive category,” he told Music Scene.

“We can’t wait to reveal what who we’ve got lined up for next year year’s festival in the new year.”

In recent months, ‘T’ has also won the event grand prix, best large festival and the green award titles at the Scottish Event Awards, and the 4Music festival of the year award at the Vodafone Live Music Awards.
