MUSIC fans were yesterday told to beware a bogus T in the Park ticket website.
Festival-goers are being warned not to buy tickets from an unauthorised European site claiming to have passes for next year’s Balado extravaganza.
Organisers said the Hungarian-based touts had no ticket allocation, and that fans should not be duped into passing on credit card details.
DF Concerts hope to be allowed to increase ticket numbers by 5,000 for next year’s festival and said it would be taking legal action against www.tinthepark2009.com
“This site is 100% unofficial and has not been given an allocation of festival tickets to sell,” a spokeswoman said yesterday.
“The event is taking legal action and urges T in the Parkers to under no circumstances buy tickets from this outlet.”
Tickets for the July 10-12 event disappeared in just 25 minutes when they went on sale at the end of last month.
Last week organisers urged fans to refrain from buying secondhand tickets on-line, insisting they may not actually exist, or come at a highly inflated price.
Proposals to increase the number of tickets for T 2009 would see the capacity at Balado rise to 85,000.
