CURRENTLY cavorting as a mad scientist in the video for his new single ‘I’m Not Alone’, Calvin Harris is coming to Balado on Saturday to storm the Main Stage and get the crowd throwing some serious shapes to his electroclash chart smashers.
Following huge success and over a million sales of his debut album ‘I Created Disco’ in 2007, Calvin Harris is back with new material this summer and is determined to rock the crowd with "massive riff, big hands-in-the-air moments".
Not only will we all be dancing with Calvin, DF Concerts and Tennent’s Lager have got some more pearlers to add to the line up. Fresh from playing SXSW and riding their ever growing wave of buzz, You Me At Six will bring their provocative sounds of punk metal magic to the Radio 1/NME Stage on Saturday at this year’s T in the Park.
The Futures Stage is setting up to explode with the hottest names in 2009 – Go: Audio lead the way on Friday and singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Priscilla Ahn joins the bill on Saturday. Metronomy will also lighten up the Futures Stage with their dance meets rock electrifying sound and making their T in the Park debut this summer.
Rounding up this weeks feast full of names, set to rock up and out at Balado this summer, the London songster Jamie T is back on the radar to tear up King Tut’s Wah Wah Tent on Friday with new material set to feature his unique mash of sounds, the follow up to 2007’s ‘Panic Prevention’ will put a smile on all fans faces.
