A HOST of promising new acts will grace the T Break Stage at Balado next month.
The line-up for the talent-spotter’s forum has been finalised by judges after they whittled down almost 1400 demos submitted by competition hopefuls to their best 16 outfits.
Those bands who’ve been picked will follow in the footsteps of names like Snow Patrol, Biffy Clyro, Attic Lights and Zoey Van Goey who all sampled their first taste of performing at the festival through T Break.
The lucky 16 are: Tango In The Attic, Little Eskimos, Mike Nisbet, My Cousin I Bid You Farewell, The French Quarter, Punch & The Apostles, Ming Ming & The Ching Chings, Dead Boy Robotics, Barn Owl, We Are Trapped In Kansas, One Foot, Maple Leaves, Gong Fei, Homework, Brother Louis Collective and Popolo.
They will be joined by General Fiasco, Pearl & The Puppets, The Phantom Band, Sucioperro, Jill Jackson, Priscilla Ahn, Healthy Minds Collapse, Hip Parade, Wallis Bird, 1990s, Bronto Skylift, Paper Planes, Pulled Apart By Horses, Cassidy, The Big Pink, Iain Archer, We Were Promised Jetpacks and Tommy Reilly.
