Rocking festival will get massive media coverage

ALL the sights and sounds from Balado will be screened across three BBC TV channels.

BBC Three are devoting over 10 hours of on-air time to T in the Park – coverage will be hosted by Radio1 favourites Edith Bowman, Reggie Yates and Nick Grimshaw, with reports from newcomer Matt Edmondson.

Scots DJ Edith will also host the BBC One and BBC Two coverage with Radio Scotland presenter Vic Galloway.

Armchair audiences are in for a special treat this year with the introduction of the BBC Three Intimate Stage, which will feature acoustic performances and unique collaborations by some of the bands on the bill from backstage at T in the Park, exclusively for TV viewers.

Key moments will also feature on Radio 1 and Radio Scotland, with Huw Stephens presenting tomorrow’s Radio1 Request Show from T, before Grimshaw hosts the station’s definitive festival round-up on Monday from 9pm-12am.

Elsewhere, the BBC interactive red button service is offering up to four different channels of performances and live video coverage.
