On stage at Birnam

RIGHT Lines in association with Mull Theatre brings its revival of The Accidental Death of an Accordionist to the Birnam Institute later this month as part of a major Scottish tour taking in 25 venues plus a run at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

The Accidental Death of an Accordionist, by Euan Martin and Dave Smith, is a comedy ceilidh murder mystery with a quality seven-strong cast directed by Mark Saunders.

This comedy drama is set in the fictitious Highland village of Glengirnie at its grand fundraising ceilidh.

Just below the surface of this Highland idyll lurks deceit, mistrust, jealousy, hatred and bloody revenge – leading to an irreverent evening of live music, dancing, drinking and murder, with the audience involved in the action.

The Accidental Death of an Accordionist comes to Birnam on Saturday, July 26, at 8pm.
