Blairgowrie concert

A CHARITY concert of traditional folk music is being held in Blairgowrie Town Hall on Saturday.

The line-up of acclaimed singers and musicians includes Blairgowrie’s own traditional singer Sheila Stewart MBE, Jimmy Hutchison, Sara Grey and the trio, Shepheard, Spiers & Watson.

Organised by Blairgowrie Christian Fellowship, the proceeds from the concert will go towards their work with the people of Transylvania, including the Rascol Children’s Project.

Tickets for Saturday’s concert – £6 for adults, £4 for children and seniors – are available in advance from Blairgowrie tourist office (01250 874998) and on the door on the night.
