Kids show off Scottish arts talent

THE 22nd annual Schools’ Festival, organised by Perth Burns Club, takes place in the Salutation Hotel, Perth, on Sunday (November 23).

This year a record entry of 64 pupils from primary and secondary schools throughout Perthshire and Kinross will compete in Scots solo singing, verse speaking and accordion playing.

The competitions begin at 1pm and members of the public are invited. Admission is free but donations welcome.
