THE Chief Constable of Funny Stories, Harry Morris, will visit the AK Bell Library on Thursday, February 5, for a night of hilarious stories, jokes and anecdotes filled with laughter.
Harry, who is the author of the hugely successful collection of police stories about ‘Harry the Polis’ worked with Strathclyde Police for almost 30 years. He began writing about the strange people and even stranger events as a way to brighten up an internal newsletter.
Harry is now a very successful writer and his collection of stories is sure to amuse and delight audiences. Sometimes dark and sometimes tragic but always funny, this is Glasgow humour at its best.
Tickets for the event, starting at 7.30pm, are available from the library shop or by calling 01738 477016. Tickets cost £4.
