New art club launched

A NEW art club is up and running in Coupar Angus.

Organiser Dawn Ingham said: “I am secretary of the Ericht Art Club in Blairgowrie, but have been looking for a venue for an additional club nearer my home in Coupar Angus. With the creation of the Isla Art Club, I am keen to continue what to me is great therapy after a busy day at work in Dundee.

“The club is not aimed at complete beginners, but those who maybe, like me, don't get time to do as much art as they would like.”

The Isla Art Club meets upstairs in the Coupar Angus Town Hall on Friday evenings from 7.30-9.30pm.

The first term runs until Friday, March 27.
