Songs of WWII

THE Edinburgh-based ladies’ choir, Glits, return to St Ninian’s Cathedral in Perth with a matinee performance next Saturday (June 13).

Glits celebrate women in World War II through song and story, with old favourites like ‘I’ve Got Sixpence’, ‘Boogie Woogie Bugler Boy’, and ‘The White Cliffs of Dover’, with audience participation an integral part.

Glits perform all over the country for the love of singing and donate the proceeds of their concerts to charity. Proceeds from their St Ninian’s performance go to the fund for restoration of the Cathedral roof.

Tickets £5 (includes refreshments) from congregation members, the Cathedral office (01738 627982) or on the door on. The show starts at 3pm.
