LOCALLY-based actress Anna Hepburn performs her own ‘The Last Letter – Mary Queen of Scots’ in the intimate setting of The Watermill in Aberfeldy at 7pm on Thursday, February 11.
‘The Last Letter - Mary Queen of Scots’ is a moving one-woman show, telling the story of Mary Queen of Scots tragic life through the writing of her last letter, the night before her execution.
The performance was devised and created by Anna, and was premiered in the chapel at Newbattle Abbey, Edinburgh.
Anna has an ever growing portfolio of diverse stage, television, film and radio productions including Monarch of the Glen, Rebus, Whisky Galore and Still Game. Her one-woman performance of Consider the Lillies by Iain Chrichton Smith won a Fringe First at the Edinburgh Festival, and is widely acclaimed around the UK and Canada.
The evening at The Watermill will begin with e supper followed by Anna’s performance.
