WELSH choir New Harmony Singers, a mixed choir with some 40 singers, will perform a concert in Perth’s St Leonard’s in the Fields Church on Monday at 7.30pm.

The choir from Torfaen in South Wales have as their guest artistes the Perth-based Barbershop Quartet.

The New Harmony Singers has won a number of trophies over the years, including the Bath and Mid Somerset Festival and the Gladys Ridout Cup from the Bournemouth Music Festival. It has also undertaken very successful tours of Germany, America, Italy, Ireland and France.

Music for Monday evening will include Calon Lan, Ar Hyd Yr Nos, Flower of Scotland, Bohemian Rhapsody, and many other songs and arrangements for all ages.

Tickets £8 (there is a discount for group bookings of 10 or more) and a donation from the concert will be made to the RNLI.
