Fair City Junior Singers prepare for new show

THE Fair City Junior Singers are looking for talented young singers and actors to present the fun musical ‘Frankie and Me’, based on the famous story of Frankenstein.

Boys in particular are needed to play the part of Frankie, the Monster and the Mad Scientist for this production, which will be staged in June.

The children’s choir has been developing young singers in Perth since 1991 and offers young people the chance to train for the Fair City Singers, the older choir which has regularly toured Europe and USA.

Both choirs were on BBC TV at New Year. Youngsters will also have concert opportunities with Fair City Junior Singers as well as appearing in ‘Frankie and Me’.

Young singers in P3 to P7 can come along to rehearsals in Viewlands Primary School on Mondays from 4.15- 5.15pm. (Please note there is no choir on February 15).

Under the expertise of musical director Mrs Marion Neilson, the young people will be encouraged to develop their voices and gain confidence while having fun learning this humorous and tuneful musical.
