THIS one’s not going to get here until the end of next year but should be well worth a look if you want something different.

CADILLAC has revealed an estate version of its new CTS saloon model, which the company says will be an alternative to SUVs when it arrives here next year.

Cadillac is bringing over the estate version of the ‘razor edge’ CTS saloon - and it’s not a bad £28,000 worth.

It's called the Sport Wagon and, in size, it should equate to the BMW 5-Series Touring or the Audi A6 Avant.

The company says it has been designed to emulate the sporting character of the saloon - which is not among the best - despite the extra loadspace.

Engines should be the same as those in the saloon - a 210bhp 2.8 V6 and a 307bhp 3.6-litre V6.

But, apparently, there will be a new V6 diesel with more than 200bhp which is being developed specially for Europe.

Four-wheel-drive is slated as an option and gearboxes will include six-speed auto and manual.

Interior

Features likely to be included are 19-inch alloys, a big internal hard drive for storing music, sat nav and full leather.

A panoramic sunroof will also be an option.
