Yamaha zeros in on finance deal
YAMAHA is softening the blow of its 2010 motorcycle price rises by announcing a zero per cent finance deal over 36 months on some models. All that's needed is a £99 deposit.
And if you're looking to borrow for longer, then Yamaha is also offering subsidised rates for periods up to 60 months.
As far as sales go, Yamaha had an impressive 2009. Five of its models were among the top ten bikes sold in the UK, including the year's highly-acclaimed cross-plane crank YZF-R1 that's packed with groundbreaking technology.
It also outshined everyone on the racetrack, winning five world championships including MotoGP with Valentino Rossi, World Superbike with Ben Spies on the R1 and World Supersport with Britain 's R6-riding Cal Crutchlow. Yamaha also won the super-competitive British Superbike championship with Leon Camier, also riding the new R1.
And now, to help more people own their dream bike, Yamaha is applying the finance offer to 14 models including the best-selling YZF-R125 and high-tech R6, the entire range of XJ6 and FZ1, and the XVS950A, XJR1300 and FJR1300A. On the road prices for the line up range from £4,069 for the YZF-R125 to £14,620 for the FJR1300A.
The 'Let's Go! Yamaha!' campaign ends on March 31.
